Chip Kidd has been designing book jackets for Alfred A. Knopf (and others) since 1986. He is the author of Batman Collected, Peanuts: the Art of Charles M. Schulz, and the forthcoming Mythology: The DC Comics Art of Alex Ross. His first novel, The Cheese Monkeys, was released in 2001, and he is currently working on his second.
